Review by Little Bookworm

At first when I looked at the cover I thought that there would be no humans in the story. I thought it would just be just about a mermaid.

After reading the book - I liked that the little boy helped the mermaid because in lots of the books I’ve read the people and the mermaids don’t get on. It was a good surprise that they helped each other.

I think the book teaches us that you can be friends with whoever you want it doesn’t matter if you are different or the same. It also teaches us that if you do kind things other people will do kind things for you.

I really liked the illustrations. I liked the bright colours and i could tell from the pictures what the emotions were in the story.

I give this book 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Book Blurb:

When a young boy endangers himself to save a mermaid, he never could have imagined the unexpected result of his actions. It turns out one good deed deserves another.
