Review:

This is such a wonderful cozy crime story story. It is only 50 pages and every single one is worth the read.

Having read one of Anna’s other books I already knew I liked her style and Flora and Busby’s adventure did not disappoint.

The characters are well written and developed quickly and concisely. I loved how strong and determined Flora was. She may have seen hard times but she isn’t letting anything stand in her way.  Busby is a soft and gentle character who clearly has a sensitive side.

I would love to see another book with a  story following their characters.

Blurb

Snowed in at an isolated stately home in the Cotswolds with an assortment of eccentric characters, is not Inspector Busby’s idea of a fun way to spend the lead up to Christmas 1923.

Added to his troubles is the Honourable Flora Farrington who is insisting on posing as his wife.

It soon transpires that among the house guests is someone who will stop at nothing to steal some diplomatically sensitive papers.

Can Busby find the missing papers before the villain murders Flora?
