A Cosy Cottage Escape
By Rosie Green
Review:
3 words review - Cosy, mystery, romance
Another must read book from Rosie Green and The Little Duck Pond Cafe. As usual Rosie tackles some sensitive and sometimes difficult topics with care and consideration. I love these cosy stories of romance and friendship - they are easy reads that sweep you along. I find the story flies by and I don’t want to put it down.
In A Cosy Cottage Escape there is an added element of mystery which was new in these books for me. I loved the spooky element and the detective work the girls did.
Moments of laughter along with some of sadness make you feel part of the story as you read.
A Cosy Cottage Escape, Little Duck Pond Café
Autumn is here and the Little Duck Pond Café crew are looking forward to spending a relaxing week in the country. That’s the theory, anyway. Because when they arrive, they quickly become immersed in village life after a power cut, only to find themselves spooked at every turn by mysterious goings-on, all of which seem to be connected to the creepy old house next-door. Is someone playing scary Hallowe’en tricks on them? Or is there something rather more sinister afoot…?
