Blinded Me With Science

Review:
This was a binge worthy listen - filled with fun and passion.
Emerson is strong willed and not afraid to speak her mind, especially when it comes to Steel. The bad boy from her school days who she could definitely do without. But when they get paired up during biology she finds herself loosing her senses and her emotions.
Steel is a likeable character - keen to show Emerson that he has changed his ways and that he really does love her. I found myself willing him on from the very start. Desperate for Emerson to come to her senses and let him in.
The story has some more serious moments and touches on issues such as drug use, sobriety and paternity. However on the whole it is a fun, light hearted romance which is definitely worth investing in. I personally liked the drip feed of seriousness as I felt it added depth to the characters and was well written that the moments had impact but didn’t dominate or make the story somber.
I was easily swept away from reality as I listened and was a little bit sad when it ended. I would have liked a little bit more from Emerson and Steel - however the story was well paced and the use of the epilogue was good.
The narration was excellent- clear, well paced and full of emotion and spirit.
Thank you for letting me be part of this tour.

Blinded Me With Science
Opposites attract like a magnet to steel, or in this case, Emerson to Steel
Emerson Powers has been so focused on obtaining her science degree that she’s neglected the more social aspects of college life. With the new start of her junior year, she’s determined to fix that with
a real hands-on lesson in biology. The assignment is simple enough—teach the rock star’s son how to be good, while he shows her how to be very bad. Two objectives, one outcome … will the lesson
be love or heartbreak?
Steel is no longer the bad boy Emerson knew from prep school, and he’s set to prove it by helping Emerson complete her secret list of desired college experiences. And if he can convince her that they
are meant to be together along the way, even better!
While teaming up on experiments, both in and out of the classroom, Emerson discovers a new side to Steel. Leaving her to question everything she thought she knew. Still, is it enough to forgive the
past or just mere chemistry?
