When Cherry Lost Terry
By Penny Phillips
Illustrated by Clare Mallison
Review:
This is a wonderful and poetic book for children.
The flow of the words as you read is splendid and the use of alliteration and rhyme make it perfect for holding the attention of children and engaging them with the book.
It is also a wonderful teaching tool for rhyme and alliteration. Working through the alphabet with each animal.
There are so many beautiful illustrations and spotting the animals became a favourite game as we read.
We also enjoyed trying to guess what animal Terry was from the clues. Definitely a book to keep safe and bring out time and time again.
