This is such a simple concept, but so true and relevant to so many of us. (Not just the children we share it with - adults stop and take note too!!) 

Little Bookworm could definitely relate to Sophie - rushing from one thing to the next. 

We are all guilty of rushing through life and Speedy Sophie is a timely reminder to slow down, stop and smell the roses. 

There is an element of repetition which makes it perfect for young children to start joining in as you read together. 

The illustrations were bold and bright - adding to the fun of the book. We also really enjoyed that there was a little black bird that keeps popping up. So as well as a great story to read, we got to play a searching game as well. 

A perfect book for young children - definitely one that I will be adding to our nursery library. Thank you for letting us share as part of the book tour.
