A Winter Wish
By Rosie Green
Review:
Part of The Little Duck Pond Cafe series - This is the second book in a trilogy that follows Clara and her family.
Full of ups and downs, love and loss. As always these books are a mix of light hearted fun and romance, alongside some quite serious and touching issues. Carefully and respectfully tackled this book includes issues of family break up, alcoholism and blackmail.
Through all of this the characters also bring joy and light to the story. Building on the events in Clara’s Secret Garden the characters develop in more detail. We see more depth to both Irene and Lois in this book as well as the developing romance that may or may not be between Clara and Rory.
I was so desperate for them to admit their feelings as I read - I shan’t spoil the outcome you will just have to read the book.
There is one more book to go and I am so excited to read it. What will become of the family, Rory and Clara? Keep your eyes peeled for my next review.

the future. And when the household is shocked by a mysterious break-in and a neighbour makes a shocking accusation, Clara finds herself in an impossible position. It’s a situation that threatens to
destroy her blossoming romance almost before it's begun . . .
